For starters, I decided to try Ap Lang and Comp. They told me that I needed a thesis statement for my AP English Essay so I was thinking of doing AP English A Levels essays but, they have more of a focus on argument. That didn't seem right. So I said I'd do a Problem Statement.Next, I went to my local library to do some research about writing my AP English Essay and I came acro ss this little book called 'AP English and Comp' by Alan Lang and Michael Coe. This was a great book because, first off, I loved the name of the book, secondly, it provided some great ideas on how to write an argumentative essay.From the information I gathered from their book, I knew that I would need to come up with a problem statement. What I needed was an essay to test if I had come up with a problem statement or not. This will tell the reader how good of an argument I am.I figured that if I could put together an argument from a set of problems in the book, then I should be able to do the same when doing my AP English and Comp. However, since I was already going through the trouble of writing an essay, why not do it right?Now, I was still having problems coming up with problems to put into my essay, but I was sure that I would get it as soon as I started reading about how to come up with a set of problems. I then came across an idea that I had never seen before. It was to add 're lative clauses' to my sentences. This will make the writer look at the essay as if he were a real person and this will be the biggest part of my essay.Finally, all of these examples will help the reader to see what I mean by arguments. After I got my essay, I was elated to see that my classmates loved it and were really impressed with my work and their comments made me want to keep trying harder to come up with new ways to make my arguments so that I could make my friends happy too.
